I have yet to understand 1 and noticed another :
1- CR7 only wins the balon d'Oro when RM wins a major trophy. Fair enough, but I further on to watch the games, especially semi and finals. He doesnt influence the game, he doesnt create chances, not even going to mention that he rarely dribbles past a single defender, he finishes off cross, completes tap-ins, like any other striker ( Suarez, Lewondoski, Zlatan). That tp me is a team working effort, if that is the case, than the award should go to RM… There are o many players within the squad that deserve so much credit, like Marcelo, Modric, Bale, Isco, the uprise Asensio. CR7 only wins when the team wins, so sad, I guess all you need to do , score in had full of games and be crowned the best. So dribbling, assistiing, influencing the overall pace of the game doesnt either exist, or these people who vote for CR7 are either paid for or just blind.
2-I just watched 8 finals for CR7 and Leo respectively. I have to admit; while CR7 just wats in the 10 yard area, Leo was all over the pitch, creating, assisting, scoring solo goals ı have never witnessed, and probably mever will again, even by Leo himself.Even during the supercup, RM was beating Barça , but only one player fought like a champ, MESSİ. Cr7 may have entered and scored a nice goal, but that doesnt mean hes the greatest, you can get lucky, the defender might loose concentration, loose his pace, could have hit his leg or w/e, I just feel sad that now CR7 has 5. he only deserved 2008 ( where he was clearly ambitioes ). Now he went on to say he is the best in history. Even Stupid President Perez went on to say CR7 is on his way to win his fifth award, after RM won back to back UCL titels during the conference. I guess his arrogant, jealous lil boy needs all the attention and media coverage to receieve his coveted trophy.

So sad, so sad… after 100 years, Messi will be mentioned amongst Pele, Maradona, Cruyff for while CR7 will only be creditted for scoring a bunch of goals, not changing the game.
