The second ever ‘El Clasico’ game between La Liga rivals FC Barcelona and Real Madrid to take place outside of Spain ended in triumph for the Catalan giants, who cruised to a 3-2 victory at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, Saturday.

Following the match, FC Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde took questions from the press, where he commented on the imminent transfer of the team’s star forward Neymar saying, “We will wait. And we count on Neymar and hope he will help us this year.”

On his end, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane commented on his team’s performance in the friendly game, saying that he “would not change anything,” and that “from the first to the 90th minute, we did good things.”

The event was sold out with more than 66,000 fans filling in the Hard Rock Stadium seats, having paid between $240 (€200) to $4,500 (€3800) for a ticket to the friendly game.

Ernersto Valverde, FC Barcelona manager (Spanish): “I always try to talk about things that happen not about things that might or might not happen and this has not happened (Neymar’s transfer). We will wait. And we count on Neymar and hope he will help us this year.

Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid manager (Spanish): “I’m here to work with the players I have. If there have to be changes we will see that ahead. And I am ok with what I have.”

Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid manager (Spanish): “We needed a preparation, and we will have a last game in Chicago and then back to think on the 8th of August. I would not change anything. And the good we have maybe has not been seen on the three games but from the first to the 90th minute, we did good things.”
