MARTIN BRAITHWAITE! The report from Spain says that Barcelona are willing to meet the €20m (£16.66m) release clause of the Denmark international, who has previously played in the Premier League. I'm unsure since Barca has made a lot of strange transfers over the years. Paying 250 millions for Coutinho and Dembele was insane. They were obsessed with Coutinho but everyone was thinking how he will be included in the squad and what his position is. It turns out they didn't have one for him. Dembele forced his way out of Dortmund showing what a great character he was and it turns out he still is a problem.
Then were was Paulinho: Bought out of China for big money, played actually decent and got sold for the same money. Then Semedo was bought but Sergi Roberto still played although as a right back he lacks speed and doesn't do anything other than passing the ball to the side. Now Griezmann was bought for big money but is played out of position.
Hopefully this will be a good transfer but I just don't think Barca can pull a good transfer nowadays. Haaland was sold for the same kind of money one month ago, let that sink

Seems they made a good deal and got him cheap. They can either continue using him or sell him for double up or more. Arbitrage in the best meaning of the word … (if that exists). All the critics look at what he has been doing so far. But they forget what happens with a player when he is put on a team with the absolute best players in the world. He grows!
